About Ryan
I have a passion for helping people learn, and my areas of speciality are English and Social Science. Any way that I can help an individual better themselves is the right way. I believe that anybody can love to learn and become super smart; all they need is some proper guidance and somebody to support them personally.
I have tutored kids younger than myself since I was in middle school, and I pride myself on my ability to help others. Currently, I am providing assistance over the phone or over Skype/Zoom to anybody that needs it. Help should be accessible anywhere!
I am currently in my Senior year of college, set to graduate in 2021. One of my biggest accomplishments is my 3.77 GPA, which has landed me on the Dean's List every quarter that I have been a student at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). You would be hard pressed to find somebody more qualified to help you with your schoolwork.
I love working with anybody that wants to be good at what they are doing. Seeing the drive that people have, especially evident in those who seek help and guidance, makes me proud to do the work I do. I don't need a thank you (although thank-you's are always appreciated), because the pleasure of helping somebody is enough for me!
I started developing a passion for teaching very early on, but I rediscovered it as I was working my way through my college degree. After I finish my Bachelor's degree, I plan on going straight into a teaching credential program, because I have such a passion for teaching the youth of today and the leaders of tomorrow.
I have always been the tutor of my classes, as people understand that I am gracious with my time and want everybody around me to succeed along with me. I was trained in tutoring at a very young age (12), and I have carried those principles along with me ever since. I also constantly expand my mind on the way people learn and what motivates people in order to become the best teacher I can be!

Typically I like to start by getting to know the person I am going to be tutoring. This doesn't take long, but it is crucial to me, because understanding the person I will be tutoring will allow me to explore different styles of teaching and see which one fits that particular individual the best. There is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to teaching!
As a student, you always want to have a teacher that cares about you as an individual and caters to the way that you learn. Ignorance has no place in education, and I have completely cut it out of my curriculum. I am your servant here, and all you need to do is tell me what it is you want. I work for you, not for myself, so it's all about you!

Details
I wouldn't ask for more than $30/hr, as I understand things are tight for many people right now. The price I charge is the lowest that I can charge, because somebody shouldn't have to break the bank to get some help with their schoolwork. It's all about your success for me!
