About Puja
I really try my best to make my students feel comfortable. I can relax on duty to create a calm atmosphere while also making sure what I am teaching stays in their minds. Whatever I have to do to make the students excel in their areas of need, I will be willing to do for sure.
I love being able to teach students because I am able to adapt quickly to my surroundings. I like to engage in quick thinking that allows me to come up with ways that makes learning the subjects that reside on the more "difficult" side worthwhile.
I have interned and tutored at a tutoring center that goes by the name of Khan's Tutorials located at Jackson Heights for the past 2 years.

I usually figure out what they need to work on by asking for school reports and the curriculum that they are familiar with. From there I tend to find a way to incoorportate my lessons and tips/tricks with the school's lessons so the "shift" in learning isn't drastic.
I have worked with kids from first grade all the way through eighth. Their subjects ranged from all types of english through math and science.
The student should meet the teacher whether it be online or in person. They should have their parents or themselves talk to the teacher about their specific needs and see what the teacher can do for them while discussing lesson plans. Once obtaining this information, the student should decide if they want to be put in the hands of this teacher.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
In general, students should be aware of how much time and effort their teacher is willing to put into them. They must be able to get an idea of how hostile or friendly their teacher really is. I know in my terms, students can feel very comfortable with me because I want to let them know that nobody is perfect and everyone deserves a chance to be heard.
