About Taylor
Reading and writing have always been areas that excite me, and so I look forward to helping students find that same excitement. The world of literature and writing has so much to explore. Through tutoring, I hope to open that world to students.
Although I don't have official tutoring experience, I have worked many jobs that required one on one help with others. Previously I was an assistant at the Kumon Math and Reading Center where I worked with younger students in developing early reading and math skills. I have also worked with others in my own education, through studying and projects.
As of spring 2020, I earned a bachelor's degree in English, and currently I'm working on my masters in creative writing. My focus has been primarily on creative writing, although much of my studies also involved various types of literature. Over summer of 2019 I studied literature abroad in Galway, Ireland. I've also earned both a creative writing and professional writing certificate through my undergraduate studies.
