About Dakota
The reason why I teach is because I believe everyone should have a good mastery of English as it's essential for your school, university, work and social life! I love seeing my students putting their best foot forward in learning English and it thrills me when I see them applying the techniques and knowledge they've learned from me into their writings and conversations.
I've been a tutor for seven years and have recently completed my practicum at Convent JB. My students have given me good reviews on how well I do my job through their responses on Google Form (I usually send them Google Forms to fill in in order to find out if my methods have been effective and to look for ways to improve my skills and the students' English levels)
I've taught in physical classes as well as online classes, and am technology-savy.

I make learning fun! I apply gamification in my lessons (No worries, it's not just Kahoot or Quizizz, there's more than that!) & colourful slides. I give plenty of English exercises too and am happy to answer any questions my students have.
I only have a few conditions when you join my class:
1. Always be polite & respectful.
2. Ask anything you don't understand,
3. Never be shy to speak, better learn the language as early as you can!
4. Be disciplined! When I give you homework with a deadline, hand in before the deadline!
5. You can eat and drink during my class, but please make sure you still pay attention!
