About Chelsey
I began tutoring in 2013 after receiving my master's in anthropology. I have tutored a variety of subjects including english, history, anthropology, and biology. In addition, I am a PhD student in anthropology and have worked as a lecturer and teaching assistant throughout my time in the program. My passion for tutoring emerges from my dual role as both a student and a teacher. I know the frustration that occurs as a student when you don't understand something and I know the excitement and accomplishment that follows with gaining a deeper understanding. While tutoring I use both basic memory techniques and other fun teaching methods to ensure that learning is fun and memorable.
I have a certificate in college teaching but have taught classes from middle school to college level. I have tutored students across the globe from Australia, Tennessee, to the North Carolina.
