About Adam
I started teaching in 2008. During my time as a teacher, I taught all core subjects in elementary and middle school. In 2014, I earned a master’s degree in educational leadership and policy from the University of Texas at Austin.
That same year, my family and I moved to Pennsylvania where I began my doctoral studies in education. I earned my PhD in 2018 from the University of Pittsburgh and now work as an assistant professor at Rowan University in New Jersey.
I teach masters and doctoral students in courses that focus heavily on producing sound research and scholarship across various educational contexts.

Conversation and brainstorming are two ways to understand how students make sense of ideas for writing. From our conversation and brainstorming, new students leave our writing sessions with graphics or visuals I construct. These visuals can be useful for organizing and building a logical framework for writing.
