About Ander
I cater my guided trips to meet the needs of my clients. One of the biggest mistakes guides make is that they treat every trip the same: go out, try to catch some fish, collect your money, and be done. Clients have many different reasons for hiring a guide. Whether it's more for educational purposes, just catching a bunch of fish, creating a memorable experience with a friend or family member, etc., all trips need to be handled differently in order to create the ideal experience for the client. I do that.
I also offer guided trips to 10 different lakes within an hour's drive of Austin. That's more than any other guide around. Most only offer trips on 1-4 lakes. Because of that, most guides will only want to take you to where ever is the most convenient for them or where ever they can keep their expenses to a minimum. My priority is putting YOU on the fish. If that means more driving and more money spent on fuel for me, so be it, and since I offer guided trips to 10 different lakes, I am far more likely to know of the hottest places to fish than other guides that limit themselves to only a few lakes. By putting my clients first, it ensures that I will have successful guided trips on a regular basis.
