Madison River Fly Fishing Outfitters is Central NC's headquarters for fly fishing tackle, apparel and world class guide services. We specialize in exclusive, top tier apparel and fishing supplies like Orvis, Simms, Sage, Hardy, Fishpond, Reddington and Rio.

Madison River has an experienced and knowledgeable guide staff that is second to none. We will happily cater to any size group and offer day and multi-day trips. We also offer casting lessons and equipment rentals.

Whether you're totally new to fly fishing, or an experienced old salt, Madison River has everything that you need to start catching fish.

I love the teaching aspect of guiding. Putting people on fish and experiencing someone pick up and put to use a piece of my instruction is just as much fun for me as actually fishing. I get to spend time with interesting people in some beautiful outdoor spaces.

About the lesson

We cater services specifically to needs and experience level. Whether it's a basic casting instruction or a full day guided trip, we'll provide all the equipment and instruction necessary to build your skill set and have a productive day on the water.

My clients have ranged from first timers to other professional guides. All age groups & experience levels, men and women, mobility challenged to professional atheletes. Fly fishing is something that just about anyone can enjoy and I am happy to cater our day to meet your needs.

Details

Standard casting lessons are $50 for one hour.

Full service, single day guided fly fishing trips are $400 for one angler or $450 (total) for two.

Special rates may apply for out of market or non-standard format trips.
