About Rhett

I started at wide receiver for Rice University's division 1 football program in Houston Texas. While at Rice, I was fortunate enough to gain a vast knowledge of strength and speed training specifically pertaining to football abilities. I also have a indepth knowledge of the sport that can apply to all skill based positions (WR, LB, DB, RB, QB). I've been volunteering for a long time and am open to working with kids of all ages and skill levels.

I have always had a passion for teaching people the joys of sports and have been doing it since I was high school. Volunteering was how I started primiarily and my love for sharing the fun and enjoyment of sports with others stuck with me.

I have been playing football all my life and was blessed with the ability and will to play at the division 1 level. I want to take what I learned from that level and pass it on to kids eager to either play at that stage or just to make themselves better at sports.

About the lesson

For working with someone new, I like to assess what they know and how well they can apply it out on the field. I understand that this process can take time but I have the patience to work with kids that are struggling in this area.

I've worked with students of all age groups. As young as 3rd grade all the way to collegiate players.

Look for someone who is going to give you straight answers and is willing to be patient because becoming better at anything takes time.

I was really happy to get to talk to my old high school's football program and answer questions about playing at the next level. It was a real joy for me to spread my knowledge to the next generation.

Ask yourself what you want out of each training session. Having a goal in mind will make things easier and more enjoyable throughout the process.

Depending on level and time, I tend to charge $20 for each 1:15 session and extending beyond that timeframe can be discussed between myself and my student.
