About Yuqi
Hi! I'm Yu Qi, an Actuarial Studies graduate from Sunway University with a strong interest in mathematics and problem-solving. I enjoy breaking down complicated concepts into simple, understandable steps and helping others learn with confidence. Having experience as a peer learning mentor, I understand that some topics can be challenging at first. I want to teach because I enjoy sharing knowledge, helping students overcome difficulties, and making learning a more enjoyable and rewarding experience. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.

My teaching approach is student-centred and focuses on building conceptual understanding through clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and interactive discussions. I prepare learning materials and practice questions to help junior undergraduate students understand Stochastic Processes, apply formulas correctly, and develop independent problem-solving skills. My lessons typically involve reviewing key concepts, working through examples, and guiding students through challenging questions, with the aim of improving their understanding and confidence.
