About Konrad

I have studied several art forms and languages during my life, starting at a very young age.

I studied Engineering and Theatre at University, and currently work with video producing and as a tutor.

I enjoy the fact that I can share everything that I know.

I came to understand that I managed to learn in depth about many different subjects during my life. That's why I believe I should be sharing it.

I always had a gif for teaching, even as a kid, I would pass knowledge to my classmates. I like to break ideas down to simple thoughts, so that anyone can understand and digest. Hence why most of my friend came to me for basic tutoring!

I have been a tutor for several years, and have faced cultural experiences in many different scenarios. All which gave me the confidence to teach many subjects, in a faster and more entertaining way than most tutors would.

I've traveled (living and backpacking) to over 30 countries, to learn about their cultures and languages.

I've studied many subjects:

In arts: Music theory, sound mixing, foley, sound design and music producing. Video editing, video recording, motion graphics, theatre.

School subjects (in order of mastery): Mathematics (went to Engineering University), History, Geography, Physics and Chemestry.

Languages: English and Portugues (Bilingual), French (Fluency), Spanish, Italian and German (Intermediate).

About the lesson

I always start by getting to know my student, understand their goals and comprehend what they lack in order to achieve them. I like to create a very cheerful and friendly environment, so that the person ABSORBS the knowledge, instead of painfuly memorizing it.

All ages, literally, from small kids, to elderly people. I lived with a big group of children in a summer camp, teaching circus as the main activity, but also dealing with all sorts of dayli tutoring. Recently I have bem tutoring many people from all ages, in several subjects.

If your goal is to actually comprehend and enjoy the process of learning, look for someone that knows how to teach you as if you were having a random conversation and you were both interested in the subject.

Being locked in, because of COVID, made me appreciate the opportunities to have video calls with my friends, where we still find ways to have fun.

Every question is valuable, since it opens to new answers and new knowledge. Never be afraid to ask, and always ask to make sure you have confidence to use the acquired knowledge.
