About Megan

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Megan, I studied French for two years at my old high school and I absolutely fell in love with it! I worked very hard to learn it and even received my school's "French Student of the Year" award! Since then, I've spent lots of my spare time studying more of the language and am eager to share with others the knowledge I've acquired about the French langauage.

I think French is such a beautiful language, and I love that I have an understanding of it which I'm able to share with other people! The joy that comes with learning another language is indescribable; not only the enhanced knowledge, but the chance to connect with other parts of the world. I'd love nothing more than to have the opportunity to give people this experience.

I have spent three years studying French; two years in school and one year online training. While I was studying French in school, I would often assist my peers with their studies and I would also help younger students in lower level classes with their work.

About the lesson

For a beginner speaker, I would begin with teaching them the fundamentals of the language; that includes learning the alphabet for the sounds of the letters, common patterns with verbs to begin writing sentences, etc.
