Very patient with me (total noob) and always had good ideas on how to advance through the session. Hunter was always on time and prepared to lead. Great personality and every session was very fun. I was intimidated initially, but Hunter made the whole experience very enjoyable.

What can I say? Hunter is the best! It’s true what the other reviews say - she is patient and friendly and made me feel completely comfortable from the very first lesson. I started taking accent reduction lessons because I am required to do a lot of presentations related to my job, and people were having difficulty understanding me. I speak 3 languages but English is not my first and this was becoming a problem. Hunter has this down to a science and knows exactly what problems you’re going to encounter even before you get there. Lessons are set with exercises and drills, but she is also very good at incorporating “real world” materials that related specifically to my profession. This alone was extremely helpful. I reached my goals in half the time I thought it would take - I am just so grateful and impressed. No more embarrassing or frustrating presentations. I can't recommend Hunter enough for anyone who wants to improve the way they communicate with the world.

Hunter offers just the right mix of vocal technique, practice and useful conversational tool. You can immediately see that she is highly skilled and trained and really has a passion for the work. Identifies my accent issues very quickly. Always gives me simple modifications to work on and even goes over material that I use for work so I can learn that first. Gives very simple practice exercises that are right to the point. Have tried a few instructors before and Hunter is the best I have found. Always look forward to our classes.

I’m so glad Hunter is still working through this! Writing this as we are all in quarantine / lockdown re: covid-19. This really has been the perfect time to do online lessons. Hunter is so positive and cheerful and, in addition to being an excellent teacher, she really brightens my mood! She is so meticulous and organized in her lesson planning and always gives me the perfect practice work / homework for between lessons. I have been taking classes with Hunter for a few months now and absolutely incredible! Yes the work is hard, but she is so fun to work with. (you can tell she does stand-up comedy! Has me cracking up every session!) Hunter makes you feel completely comfortable but knows how to get serious and touch and get stuff done. I’m really starting to notice a difference in the way I talk and the way I sound. She gives you very simple, very effective exercises for practice in between sessions an good memory hooks. Very organized and an excellent understanding of the work and accents in general. Fantastic teacher. I’m sure you’ll love her.

Hunter is a great teacher. She is really good at catching even barely noticeable pronunciation issues. She gives clear instructions on how to fix them. She is very knowledgeable about other countries and cultures which makes it easy for her to understand one’s accent. Very good and detail oriented teacher. She can pick up the slightest little mistakes in the way you pronounce things and the way you speak and tell you how to correct them on the spot. Now I know how to move my mouth differently to make different sounds for the same word. Have been doing session twice a week for 4 months and my accent is completely gone!
