About Matthew

40 yrs golf experience. College graduate with an education concentration. I’ve taught the game of golf to people anywhere from ages 5 to 65. I work best with not only beginners but also with amateurs that are willing to break old habits and replace them with good habits. Whether it’s a slice, a hook, topping too much, not getting it off the ground, horrible around the green... it’s no problem. I can help. I’ll keep it simple for you. That’s the biggest key. I promise to bring you knowledge, guidance, and a well-articulated gameplan towards improvement. I can assure you once we meet that you’ll be 100% satisfied with the session. Or it will be free of charge.

Respectfully - Matt

Seeing people improve and enjoying the benefits of it. Smiles win me over.

Education background. Lots of friends and family needing help.

40 yrs of golf experience. Currently a 4 handicap. Education background. Golf instructor at camps. Have worked with almost all ages and demographics.

About the lesson

(1)Asking what part of their game they want help with. (2)Taking a look at their current golf stance and swing. (3)Watch them hit some practice balls and seeing the results of the swing and ball flight. (4) Explaining why the ball reacting a certain way to their swing. (5) Replacing the bad golf habits with good golf habits, one step at a time

Beginners and avid amateurs.

Young children, teenagers, Ages 20-65, semi-retired, retired, friends, and family.

Find one that knows what they’re doing and keeps it simple for you. Work on one thing in between sessions.

A recent student of mine was slicing the ball on every golf shot. When we first met, she informed me that she was very frustrated with the game of golf, almost to the point where she wanted to flat out quit the game forever. After convincing her to meet, she listened intently during our sessions. Take- home drills were given to her to help facilitate the process. I was very proud of her for working very hard behind the scenes. After our 4th session, her slice was gone. Her golf shot became a beautiful left-to-right fade on a consistent basis. Confidence was restored. And most important, her love for the game of golf was restored.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Write down what you don’t like about your golf game.

Write down what you desire to have in your golf game.

Articulate to future teaching prospects what you don’t like in your game, and what you desire to change. Be as SPECIFIC as u can. This helps!

Find a teacher that is willing to be patient with you, and gives you one thing at a time to work on. (One tweak at a time is enough I can 100% assure you)

Perfect! Matt was very patient, kind and thoughtful. My game has greatly improved because of him. I’m no longer afraid to play with more experienced players. I highly recommend him for beginners like me.

Perfect! Matt was wonderful! Very patient. What I liked best was that we concentrated on just one area that needed improvement—I did not have a lot of information thrown at me. I am looking forward to my next session. I would recommend him.
