About Cody

Been coaching little league bassball and basketball for the past 5 years and have been doing golf lessons for the past 2 years. I played all 3 sports in high school competitively and then I worked on college teams, as well as professional teams after high school. If your kid wants to take any of these sports to the next level, we can put a plan together to make it happen. It will simply be left up to them and how much they want to work towards the goals we come up with. I don't teach baseball and basketball for adults but most certainly teach golf. I know everything that one needs to know when it comes to the golf swing. I will use video and drills I've been taught to hone in your golf skills and try to put your complete game together so you can go dominate your buddies on the weekend or potentially to register and be competitive in a local golf tournament. I was born a teacher I think and then I've just been around sports my whole life. So if you put them together you get a coach and coaching is my true passion in life.

In college I worked on a division 1 basketball team and then once I graduated I worked for the Denver Broncos and the Denver Nuggets. So I've been around the best athletes in the world and I saw first hand what separates those guys from the rest.

About the lesson

First, I just have a conversation with them or their parent and get a feel for what it is that they are trying to accomplish by getting lessons. After I have a feel for that I set an expectation with them and set some goals, both short term and long term goals that I 100% guarantee we will achieve together if my student is committed to our plan. After we have a set expectation and have come up with some goals, I just execute the plan we have put in place, while trying to keep my student in the most positive, upbeat state of mind throughout. Attitude is a big thing for me, it's the one thing us humans have full control over and I'm sorry but nobody ever accomplished anything great with a bad attitude. So I won't accept a bad attitude while we are working. After we are done with the lesson we will evaluate each other, being as upfront and honest as possible. All I'm looking for is PROGRESS! If we can get better after every lesson so that we are better in the next lesson, then we are getting somewhere!

Not really. I try to help everyone out because I understand it's tough times right now with COVID-19, so I'm always willing to work with my customers and come up with a fair price that they are able to afford. And if they feel like they aren't getting better I will give a full refund, no questions asked.
