About Bryan

I've been coaching and fitting clubs for 15 years and worked with everyone from 6 year olds to tour pros. I don't teach one cookie cutter swing, I want to help you find YOUR swing, make golf easier and have a good time while we do it.

I've been a golfer since I was 12 (31 years ago). I played in High School as well as College D-1, and I've been a playing/club/teaching pro for 15 years.

I've taught over 1,000 lessons in my career and built over 300 sets and 600 individual clubs for my clients. My teaching philosophy is built on 3 things... What I've learned from my mentors over the years (including some that work with current Tour Pros), the book "The Golf Machine" (Which focuses on using physics to more efficiently move the golf ball) and Arnold Palmer's quote "Swing Your Swing".

I've taught as a Club Professional, an Independent Instructor, at GolfTec and done club fittings and built clubs independently and at Club Champion for going on 6 years. I now work as an independent instructor as well as director of Club fitting for the Billy Casper school of golf and owner of the claret club, a game improvement subscription membership.

About the lesson

First, I like to talk to them about their goals, their background, and get an assessment of their experience and knowledge. Then we discuss lesson rates and packages and decide on which works best for them.

Our first session is an assessment of 2 things; A swing assessment where I take notes and build a lesson plan, and an equipment assessment to make sure they're playing the right equipment. I first look to see if there are any tweaks I can make to their current equipment to make it work more efficiently for them. I then take the clubs to my shop to make those tweaks. I also make recommendations on different equipment if my students need it.

Once my assessments are done and the lesson plan is built, we move forward learning how to make the club do what we want it to do, and make the ball do what we want it to do. I help my students learn how to use "Their Swing" to play the best golf they possibly can.

Bryan was awesome to work with! He definitely made the game fun and interesting. He focused on teaching me how to make my swing work better other than trying to teach me to swing like someone else. I have a much better understanding how to make the golf club work for me.

Swing truth focused on developing clubs that maximized my swing, and didn't try to change my swing to fit a certain club. This helped give me more confidence in making the right club selection and executing the shot. Improved my scores by 9 to 12 shots in 1 season. I enjoy the game so much more now.

Working with SwingTruth was a turning point in my golf game. He helped me choose out the best clubs for my swing and for my game. He also helped me understand more in depth of what pros do and what they look for in golf clubs and also in training. Ive been playing golf for 10 years and I learned even more about the game from him. Would definitely recommend!
