About John

I have been a golf instructor for over 25 years and a high school golf coach for 20 years and trained High school, college, and PGA pros.

Let's keep the swing simple and fundamentally sound so you have a swing for a life time.

I work with all skill levels and build your swing on your strengths.

I love the game of golf and when I became a PGA golf professional I was leaning towards being a head golf pro but fell in love with teaching as that's where the passion and soul of the game is.
I just want everyone to enjoy the game of golf as much as I do, and at what ever level you want to achieve.

I am a PGA PGMA golf professional with over 25 years of teaching and mentored by top 100 teachers.

About the lesson

Let's analyze your swing to make a plan to meet your goals in golf first.

Then build your swing around your strengths and body movements.

Golf is a very diverse game and we all have our swing to find.

I have worked with golfers of all skill levels. I have trained kids to help get to college on scholarships or go on to be local golf professionals.

My core of students that I love to teach is the average golf that just wants to enjoy a round of golf and have consistant ball striking skills and be able to chip and putt.

I will help you achieve what ever goals are in golf.

The best advice that I can give a student looking for a golf instructor is to make sure that you like your instructor and you have good communication.
I always recommend to take the first lesson and if you had a good time, able to understand the instruction, and they focus on the fundamentals of the game and not gimmicks and bandaids.

Golf is a game for a lifetime and if you know and understand the fundamentals you will enjoy the greatest game ever played at what ever level you want to achieve.

I love watching golf live or even on TV. I always look forward to the Masters every year, what a great event to start the golf season.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your goals?

Do you have time to pracitice the skills you have learned?

Do you have any physical aliments that might prevent you from making a fundamental swing. ( good teachers will help you to overcome.)

Are my golf clubs ok to take lessons with?

Most golf professionals will ask the right questions at the first lesson.

If you want a golf coach that cares and wants you to improve and enjoy the game of golf just as much as he does, you came to the right place. After just two lessons and some practice at home I am hitting the ball further and straighter then ever before.

John has a talent for explaining the details of the golf swing then coaching you through till you are comfortable with the changes to your bad habits. Kind of like a parent but without the big stick

This was my first lesson after 30 years of playing. He helped me stay focused on some fundamentals that will no doubt improve my short game much to the surprise of my golf buddies who don't know I've got a secret weapon this year. Thanks John.

John was very helpful. His instructions were easy to understand and implement immediately. He was able to capture video footage quickly and diagnose swing issues. I could immediately see what I couldn't feel and then begin to make simple adjustments. John was very positive and easy to understand. Great lesson in only 30min.

John has helped me hit the ball straight and long. I hurt my knee, and John found a way for me to hit the ball without undo pressure on the knee. Only with 2 lessons, I feel I have made great improvements.
