About Don

My teaching philosophy is built around experience, diagnosis, and individualized solutions. With more than 40 years of playing experience and over 10 years of teaching, I believe every golfer is different—and the best instruction starts with understanding the individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all swing model.

I don’t simply tell students what to change. I help them understand why a particular shot happened, identify the underlying swing or movement that caused it, and then provide a specific correction and drill designed to address that problem.

My goal is to help students understand the cause-and-effect relationship between their movement and ball flight. When golfers understand why the ball reacted the way it did, they become better at diagnosing their own game and making effective adjustments on the course.

I rely on experience, careful observation, and simple explanations to find the simplest and most effective solution for each golfer.

In short: I don’t just tell you what to change—I explain why the problem happened, how to fix it, and give you a drill to help make the correction.

Perfect! After playing golf for over 40 years, I’ve taken three lessons with Don and I was doing so many things wrong. He got me headed in the right direction. It was a lot to get used to in three lessons but I definitely feel like I’ve made huge progress. he walks you through it. Step-by-step explains it well and works with you to develop the right swing the right grip the right weight shift it’s really remarkable what a difference he’s made.
