About Eric

Hello my name is Eric Crociata a 31 year old male born and raised in the Bay Area. Golf has been my passion since 8th grade when I got a summer junior golf pass at San Ramon Golf course in San Ramon, Ca. I have been hooked ever since. Going on to high school where I attended California High school in San Ramon, Ca and went on to letter 3 years with a league title my junior year. Went on to play for Chabot Junior College for 2 years where I won 4 individual titles. The last few years I have been working at local golf courses and continuing to hone my game for a chance of making my dream of playing professional golf a reality. The first few years were a wake up call so I realized that I needed to change my body and mind to be a contender at the professional level. Took a 2 year break from competition to work on myself. Played my first tournament from a long lay off at the 2018 U.S open local qualifying @ yocha de he golf course in Brooks. Ca and shot a -1 71 to miss advancing by 2 shots. Considering very little competition I more than held my own. Have been steadily improving the last year and hope to make some small breakthroughs the next year. Still trying to build a schedule where I can compete on a more regular basis. Professional golf takes a lot of money! I would love to use my knowledge and passion for golf to help someone get better and enjoy this game I love very much!

This will be my first official teaching experience but have taught some summer junior camps in the past

I have almost 20 years golf experience. Played college golf and have worked as a assistant professional at a few local golf courses.

About the lesson

Well to be honest I don’t have a ton of experience teaching but I have taught junior camps and a few people I’ve played golf with. Mainly I don’t want to overload with too many things to work on. Try to keep it simple with basic mechanics and work on one thing at a time!

I’ve worked with juniors and a few mid handicap players I’ve met at my local golf courses

My main goal is to make golf fun and give you basic mechanics to start building a golf game that allows you to truly enjoy this game

The 2018 U.S open local qualifier. Made me realize that I can eventually play with the best players in the world.
