About Bob
Acoustic guitar and sax lessons from beginner to intermediate level. Current criminal backgound and child safety certifications.
Since my high school days I have offered musical help and lessons to my peers and younger musicians starting out. Helping people discover and connect with the fun and joy of music makes this rewarding for me in its own way.
For many years, and currently, I play and sing in church music ministry. Playing in big band jazz groups has been a longtime enjoyment. I play sax in local clubs. Mentoring younger students in both guitar and saxophone has been an enjyable sideline interest.

The usual process starts with a no-cost phone conversation to determine the student's skill level and goals. Our first lesson together is also cost-free, no obligation to meet and greet and get everything started right.
Students have been from early elementary, to high school to adults. I have developed a love and a "knack" for being able to connect with beginner and intermediate students to learn basic reading and instrument formation, and introduction to ad-lib soloing.

Mr. Nowak is a great teacher. You can really tell that he is passionate about music and likes to see others develop a passion as well. Mr. Nowak helped me improve my saxophone skills tremendously. I took band lessons in school, but still need a some extra help and Mr. Nowak did a great job. If it was not for him I would not still be playing the saxophone all of these years later!

Details
The usual rate is $30 per lesson, which are about 45 minutes long. Scheduling can be weekly, monthly or as needed by the individual. Cancellations are accepted with advance courtesy notice. In between lesons I am available by phone or email for Q&A as needed without additional change.
