Jared is a very insightful teacher. His knowledge of music is extraordinary and his ability to convey it to me is his biggest asset. He somehow tells you how to think about something in a certain way and makes everything seem easier when you do.I am 54 years old and started guitar 2 years ago wanting to learn a few chords to strum.Somehow Jared has taught me scales, pentatonic shapes, what key I'm playing in,bar chords,etc. He is extremely understanding and notices everything and suggests minor improvements to enhance my skills. He has brought me further in my guitar playing ability than I ever thought I would get to. I not only consider him a great teacher of music but a friend as well.

I have been playing for quite some time but a few years ago I hit a wall, I felt like I couldn't advance my guitar skills any further. I decided to try lessons again and was lucky enough to be paired up with Jared. He is truly a great teacher as well as a very talented musician. Since starting lessons with him I have expanded my knowledge of music theory, added tons of flavor to my scales, perfected my rhythm playing and even started sight reading. Definitely the best teacher I have learned from, can't thank him enough.

Jared is a gifted musician and proficient in all styles of guitar and is an outstanding teacher. He is always prepared, conducts his lessons in a thoughtful organized manner, and can instruct on virtually every genre of music. I personally take rock based lessons and Jared has improved my guitar playing exponentially in just a few months. And on top of that he is a really good guy and fun to jam with. Jared is an incredible teacher. I've been taking guitar lessons for about a year now and I'm always impressed by his abilities as both a teacher and musician. He's extremely patient and personable and makes the lesson fun. I appreciate the way Jared teaches - he takes his time to explain the music theory behind playing guitar - something I had expressed an interest in early on in our lessons.
