About Bradley

What are your musical goals?-I'm here to help! Whether you want to learn the musical language, need songwriting tips, or just want to improve your skills on your instrument, i've got you covered. I'll provide a learning path catered to your needs, with tailored feedback you can't find in a youtube video. I've been teaching saxophone, guitar and piano for about 15 years, with many successful students. I also play ukulele and bass, with lots of songwriting/orchestration/composition experience. I have a bachelors degree in musical arts from SHSU.

As soon as I graduated high school, my band director hired me to teach younger students. I have been doing it ever since!

I have a bachelor of musical arts degree in saxophone. I’ve been in several local bands that wrote, performed and recorded original music. I have also had several former students who have ranked first in the state on their instrument.

About the lesson

New students need teachers who are able to get to know them quickly in order to identify learning styles and interests. This helps communication and motivation while improving a skill or learning a new one.

I’ve worked with 5 year old beginner students, adult beginner students, students with learning disabilities and students who ranked top 10 in the state of Texas. I’ve even had a few students who actually ranked first in the state.

Being aware of what you want will help you find the right teacher. Being aware of what you want will also help the right teacher to help you the right way.

Every day I get to teach and share music with others, I leave the day feeling better than when I started in the morning.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before talking to teachers about their needs, students should be aware of their goals. We need goals to guide us and having goals will help a good teacher assist you with reaching them.

Details

I charge $25/lesson. Usually my lessons are 30min, and typically this is more than enough time to cover what we need to for a week. However, my rates will include time on the road if a student needs me to travel. (Time on the road is time I’m unable to teach).
