About Ivan

One-on-one lessons via skype mainly for those who want to improve their guitar skills in the realm of metal and hard rock.

I love being able to help others reach their goals and guiding them in the right direction so that they are able to get to where they want to be.

I realized how much I enjoy getting my friends and family into music and playing and instrument, which gave me my small experience in teaching.

I have taught friends of mine who have decided to get into guitar and metal/rock music and they improve fairly quickly!

About the lesson

I will discuss what the student knows and does not know about the instrument and discuss what techniques and styles they want to learn. From that foundation I will be able to guide a student through the right path to get them to where they want to be.

People my age and a couple years older. (16 years to 23)

Find someone who seems to suit the style you want to learn in and make sure you are comfortable with their presence.

Seeing one of my favorite bands in concert for the first time. It was surreal and the people in those venues are like family. Will never forget any concert I go to.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I don't believe the students should think through any questions before discussing that with a teacher. The teacher will be able to guide them.
