About Tony

I speak about sound and play a lot of guitar and electronic improvisation gigs at yoga studios and festivals. I have the most to offer in this area, but the skills and information I use translate well to other genres

Over the past 10 years, I've been in multiple bands playing guitar, singing, and playing bass for covers and original music.

I've written, recorded, produced, and mixed countless songs, so I can help in this area as well

I love music and the lessons that practicing has to teach us about ourselves as artists and people.

I also love seeing the look on someone's face when they finally understand or play something that was previously confusing or difficult.

When my guitar player friends in other bands started taking lessons from me, I thought it might be time to seek more students.

I've been playing guitar, bass guitar, and singing professionally for over a decade in multiple bands and projects.

I've written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered countless songs.

I operate a business called GeneOhm Sound & Wellness, where I go to yoga studios and festivals to do presentations about vibration, meditation music workshops, and musical collaborations with yoga teachers, breathwork practitioners, and other wellness facilitators.

Currently, I also produce beats using the guitar and Ableton Live. I release these beats on my Instagram (concealed information) where I break down the theory I use to write the guitar parts.

About the lesson

First a conversation about what the student hopes to achieve, then an assessment of skill level, then discuss plans to move forward practicing in the most effective and enjoyable way.

At the end of Summer, I facilitated all of the music for a yoga + wellness retreat. I felt very fulfilled in my work, and I also got to enjoy a lot of the relaxing elements of the retreat.
