About Alex

I have 17 years of experience playing guitar. I can teach many genres or styles of music.

I think teaching music is a very worthy cause. Music has truly inpsired me and given me a real sence of purpous in life and i hope to share my knowlege to help others grow.

I used to teach in person before the pandemic. Now only teaching students online.

I've been doing lessons for about a year now. 17 years experience playing guitar and bass. I've had 5 guitar teachers over the years. I am in multiple bands. I can teach a wide variety of genres and styles.

About the lesson

If the student is a beginner with a year or less experience i would most likely start by teaching them some easy chords, scales and simple songs. For more advanced students i could teach songs they are interested in learning or help them with writing there own songs.

Mostly beginners.

If the student can share what music they listen to or are interested in learning then we can be more focused on what the student wants to learn. I play many genres/styles of music. blues, folk, rock, heavy metal You name it and i will do my best to teach you.

Live music in general i deeply miss.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I try to make it easy for my students to communicate with me. If somethings wrong i want to know. If the student feels overwhelmed, stressed or confused about what im trying to teach them i want them to feel like they can talk to me.
