About William

I have been instructing 1 on 1 lessons for over 10 years and have the experience, expertise, and know how to find out where my students are and take them where they want to go musically. I've taught all levels of difficulty on most instruments and pride myself in being able to successfully help my students get to the next level.

I studied at Montclair State University for my BA in music education. I have 10+ years of experience teaching students 1 on 1 in a private setting. I perform regularly and have experience on many different instruments.

About the lesson

I find out where the student is in his/her playing through the first lesson. From there I can formulate a plan that best serves the student and allows them to grow as a player and musician in the best way.

Ages from 4 and up. I have a variety of students at the moment that age from 5 to 70.

Perfect! Will taught my two boys (9 & 7) with a perfect combination of patience and proper technique. They were both complete beginners a few months ago, and now they read music, play with both hands and put on little shows for the whole family. They love their lessons with “Mr. Will” and I think they’ll be playing piano for years to come. Can’t recommend him enough!

Perfect! Will has all the attributes of a great teacher. He is knowledgeable, patient and passionate about music. I look forward to the lessons. I always feel like I’m getting better. I take guitar lessons, but Will plays about 6 instruments in total and I think his musical acumen brings and added intangible to the lessons.
