About Rob

I love teaching people music. I get people all the time telling me, "I wish I could play an instrument." My next question is, "What is stopping you?" Everyone can play an instrument, music is about passion and commitment.

When I see my students learn something new, each time they take another step, their face lights up with inspiration and confidence. I remember that feeling, itgives you the confidence each time you take another step to say, I Can Do This!

I have been playing Guitar, and many instruments since 1985. I have written music as well as produced it. Music is my life and my passion. Music is not about the notes you play its about the passion and emotion that creates the notes.

About the lesson

The most important step in learning a new instrument is completely understanding what the instrument is and how to maintain it so it always properly. How to Identify a quality instrument or a instrument that is not optimal to learn with. Then we move on to how to properly hold the instrument and play the instrument. These are very important first steps of really coming to know your new instrument and understanding the difference a problem with the instrument or the student needing to practice. Many times people give up before they even start their musical journey because they bought less than par instrument that is difficult to play and does not sound good. Therefore they get discouraged and quit. My job is to teach you all aspects of how to succeed with your dream and encourage you to do just that!
