About Dan

I teach all of the easy tricks of the trade quickly and all music styles and music theory based on what music the student likes to hear. I can also teach online through Zoom or Skype! So you do not have to leave your house. I accept paypal. I am the cheapest and best! $10 for 1/2 hour, $20 for an hour!

I have been teaching for 20 years and I am a musician, singer, songwriter, performer, band leader, recording artist! I have lead and performed with top Pittsburgh Bands for decades! I have a total of 5 newspaper articles written about me and my musicianship with local bands and solo performances.

I like teaching people how to play the guitar/bass because I get joy out of the student enjoying playing the instrument. I also like my fast and quick approach which helps a lot!

3 decades of being a professional musician and guitar instructor.

About the lesson

One on one and focusing on exactly what the student wants to learn while teaching starting off teaching the songs the student wants to learn and the music theory behind it, such as the basic I-IV-V chord progression.

Do you have time to practice everyday? I can not magically turn anybody into a musician, but I DO usually get students playing songs in the first few weeks to a month.

I now have a much better grasp of the modes after studying with Dan and he was able to identify and correct a problem with my left hand technique.
