When my daughter came home to tell me she picked the oboe to play at school, my anxiety level went sky high. I tried helping her at home but with what little knowledge I had, we were getting nowhere. Maddy was just what she needed. Now, all I have to do is tell my daughter to practice and make sure she gets her weekly lessons with Maddy. She’s even learned to love the instrument and is going to be taking woodwinds next year! I’m hoping we’ll have a decent oboist in the home in the near future thanks to Maddy.
