About Melody

I have always loved teaching one-on-one, and I greatly enjoy working with kids! Since the harp is one of my passions, I love sharing it with others.

I have been teaching harp for over 10 years and have performed in the ensemble Harps of Grace for the past 7 years. I studied harp for over 18 years, and I also have an Associates in Music with an emphasis in harp performance.

About the lesson

I offer the first lesson as a free introductory lesson! We work out a weekly lesson time that works best for both of out schedules. I will offer any materials that the student may need. I am also happy to make instrument recommendations, and I am willing to teach a few lessons before you invest in a harp.

I offer lessons to students of all ages. I especially enjoy teaching younger students!

I have performed in the ensemble Harps of Grace for the past 7 years and greatly enjoyed it!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do not buy a cheap harp online as they are pieces of junk!! I am happy to give you recommendations for purchasing or renting an affordable but good quality harp. I would also be glad to teach a few lessons before you purchase a harp.
