About Jeff
Beachside Tutoring was born out of a lifelong passion for education and a deep love for helping students thrive. What began as a one-woman tutoring service has grown into a dynamic team of qualified educators, each with their own area of expertise, united by a shared mission: to provide individualized academic support to students along the Emerald Coast.
Founder Chelsea Perry discovered her calling in the classroom at the age of 12, when she had the chance to teach her peers about the order of operations. That spark led to a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a teaching career at Navarre High School. Though she later transitioned to a different profession, Chelsea’s heart remained in education, and tutoring became her creative and fulfilling outlet.
As word spread and demand increased, Chelsea began building a team—passionate, skilled educators committed to delivering personalized, subject-specific instruction. Beachside Tutoring was officially established in 2024 and now serves students across all grade levels and subjects with a focus on confidence, connection, and growth.
A mom to three beautiful biracial children—two with special needs—Chelsea understands firsthand the value of patient, one-on-one academic support. Her personal experiences as a parent and former teacher shape the heart of Beachside Tutoring: compassionate, customized, and capable instruction that meets each child where they are.
Chelsea is a Christian, a serial entrepreneur, and a coffee-lover. When she’s not tutoring or running the business, she’s likely to be found in her garden or greenhouse—or happily doing math just for fun.
At Beachside Tutoring, we believe every student has potential waiting to be unlocked, and it’s our joy to help them shine.
