About Christine
I am a Harvard educated teacher (Ed.M.) with 20 years experience teaching History and writing. I am excellent teaching in the classroom as well as 1 on 1 tutoring.
I am a culturally proficient teacher and am able to teach English Language Learners (certified) and students with diverse learning needs (part of professional level certification).
I prepare an indidualized tutoring curriculum for all of my students and we can use new materials or current school assignments to learn the skills and content that you need.
I am the type of teacher that students can relate to. I am able to motivate others and help students reach their full potential.

Second, I look at student work to evaluate skills, content knowledge, and areas I see for improvement.
Third, I report my findings to both the student/parents and engage in a discussion.
Fourth, I create an individual plan for students to work on.
Fifth, I create benchmarks (tests to measure progress over time) and provide this as evidence of progress towards goals in the individual learning plan of the student.
Sixth, discussions with students and parents are welcome at any time.
