About Samantha

As a Social Studies teacher for 6th, 7th and 8th grade, I have worked with curriculum in World History, U.S. History and Civics. I have been teaching for 3 years and have certification in reading competency as well as ESOL content as well.

I have the ability to work with students of all learning levels and am passionate about assisting students wherever possible in order to help them meet their goals!

I enjoy meeting students where they are and working with them to achieve each and every one of their goals.

As a teacher, I am extremely blessed to have the opportunity to assist students in their journey and watch their successes.

I have a passion for education and assisting students meet their educational and personal goals. As our future, students are an invaluable resource. Following my undergraduate and graduate studies, I found my way to teaching from a desire to help children and share my passion for learning.

I am a certified Social Studies teacher in Florida for grades 5-9. I have also earned my reading competency and ESOL content certification.

About the lesson

When beginning work with a new student, I first engage them in a conversation about their goals. In order to best serve students, I need to understand what they wish to achieve and what boundaries they are experiencing. My goal is to work together to overcome these boundaries and work toward achievement together!

I have worked with students from all backgrounds and learning levels in both advanced and remedial classes.
