About Horea
Hi there! My name is Hori, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics with a research thesis on Physics Education, focusing on homework redesign. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education at the University of Calgary to become a high school teacher. My passion for teaching began over a decade ago as a lifeguard and swim instructor, which led me to tutoring math and science. With over eight years of tutoring experience and more than a decade of teaching in various capacities, I have developed a dynamic and research-driven approach to education. My goal is to make math and science engaging and accessible, helping students build confidence and succeed. For high school students who need help with Math, Physics or Chemistry up to Chem 20, I'm here to help!
