About Lauren

Our mission is to build a solid foundation for riding & educate every client in the skill of horsemanship so it continues into the future. We teach child & adults, beginner through advanced.

Red Hound offers fox hunting, steeplechase racing, shows, summer camp & trail riding.

We train horses as well, which offers insight into the true nature of equine psychology.

There is nothing more gratifying than watching your students progress and accomplish goals they never thought were possible.

My favorite aspect of training horses has always been starting the young horses, which have never been handled.

Once you see & understand horses in their purist form I really wanted to educate and teach other riders how to be more effective. Find the rythem & a proper feel with horses.

I have trained with incredible horsemen in the world of show hunters, steeplechase jump racing, flat track racing, & instructing at people at riding schools.

About the lesson

Each client starts with an evaluation lesson of their skills, goals, and we begin building the foundation on day one.

I have a wide range of clients, from children to adults of all levels. Even though we have a wide range of people and events, they all have a commonality. Everyone in my stable strives to be soft yet effective rider, so the horses enjoy them as much as they enjoy their ride.

When looking for a trainer it’s all very personal. Find a place with positive energy & a trainer you respect. Everyone has a different personality & Perspective.

I’m selective with my clients. I think it’s important that we all have similar ideals so that I have as much fun teaching them as they have riding.

We have had a tremendous 2018 season completing in the spring races. This year our students have won every division championship. Ranging from the ladies Side Saddle racing, pony races, & timber races

However the year has just begun! Looking forward to our Kentucky Derby Party & the annual Hunt teams showing at the Devon horse show!
