About Larry

I teach traditional Japanese Karate Shotokan and Wado-Ryu. I coach Olympic style fighting and have competitors compete in National and International Karate events. I have a student that is currently on the USA National Karate Team as an Elite Fighter.

I've been competing, teaching and coaching for over 36 years. I've also competed in Muay Thai kickboxing and boxing.

it gives great satisfaction to see my srudents grow in positive self-esteem, character, technical martial arts skills, and awesome courages human beings in our community.

I begin Martial Arts at the age of 11 years old and began studnet teahcing at 15 years old. I have been teaching since the ealry 80's and I am now a Level 1 coach for the United States of America National Karate Federation (USANKF) and National Coach for Wado-Ryu International Karate Federaton (WIKF).

I have a Masters in Social Work and expericene in counseling. I am cureently in the process of acheiving my hours to be a Licnensed Clinical Social Worker.

About the lesson

I offer a introduction packet is $95.00 which consist of a Gi (outfit) 1 private lesson and 7 free group class.

I have worked with many nationalisties, ages and both genders. I love to teahc build and educate anyone that walks through my doors wanting to improve thier life through the practice of traditional Karate, I guide them to find strengths and work on weakness. I provide challenging training sessions to fit all levels of atheletes and walks of life.

To come and watch for a week not just one day to see and hear for yourself. When your shopping around ask questions to the instructor learn about their goals for thier students.

I am found of building my atheltes to compete in the USA National Karate Championships this year 2017. This is tournament is the tri-outs for Team USA. I have one Elite level fighter competitor that made the USA Team and just competed at the Pan Am games in Argentina 2017. In addition, I strive to build by competeive students to one day not only be on the USA National Karate Team but also be a memebr of the USA Olympic Team.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Questions to think about would be if there going to get good instruction, support in class, how challenging is the class what's the mission statement, and philosophical views of the school.
