About Darae
I can speak a few languages. My major was Chinese literature and minor was Japanese language. I know how to learn languages. I started to learn foreign languages from my early age. This experience makes me understand better about my students. I can teach them how to learn languages in a better way to expedite their learning process.
I am happy to help students who want to learn Korean language and culture. I love to learn languages and cultures and travel around the world. If my talant can help students and make them happy, it makes me more happy.
I've started my teaching languages from 2007. By then i tought Chinese to Korean students. After I moved to US, I started to teach Korean.
My major was linguistics. I've learned foreign languages such as Chinese and Japanese from my early age. I know how to learn language in a easy and fun way. I love to learn languages and love to teach students with my knowledge. I am happy to be a guide to meet their learning goal.

I try to know students learning goal for the first class. At the same time, we can decide learning materials. I have my own but if students have their materials, we can use that. I customize curriculum for their specific needs.
I worked with students age 5 to 50.
Their occupation was homemaker, students and employees.
Learning languages are not easy. Sometimes you may feel tedious and bored. It would be a long path to master a language. I have many experiences. During the learning path, you may feel like your learning skill doesn't progress fast enough to satisfy you. However if you keep putting an effort and try to stick with the language, you will recognize your skill is improved slowly but firmly.
I gave birth this year. I like to teach a little bit of Korean to my son and my husband.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The primary thing is setting up their goal. What's your destination of learning korean language. Do you want to have a small talk with them? Do you want to learn more higher level for your business? To meet your goal, how much effort can you put and how do you want your teacher to help you? It would be better for you to tell your teacher about your specific goal. It would fasten your progress to your goal.

She is superb!
I was attending her class twice so far. I learned basic conversation skills and pronunciation. She was very kind and good for a slow learner like me. I'm very into Kpop. She teaches me some useful idioms in Dramas and the unique K-culture which is only known by native speakers.
