About Julia

Hi! I am Julia and I teach Yoga, Mat Pilates and Yoga Nidra Meditation

I've been teaching Pilates for 8 years and yoga for 4 years. I've been teaching at YogaWorks, LA Fitness and Active Wellness.

I studied my 200 hours and 300 hours training at YogaWorks, my 50 hours Mat Pilates Training at Equinox, my Yoga Nidra Teacher Training at Shiva Shakti School.

I also have a 2 years Macrobiotic Nutriotion Diploma from LA Sana Gola Milano and Fitness Nutriotion certification from NASM.

I work with people who want just to learn more about yoga or get more fit and stronger and also improve their mobility. I also work with people with specific needs , injuries or Chronic Diseases since all my classes are funtional and adapted to the need of my clients.

I enjoy that I can help people to feel better emotionally and phisically. I enjoy that people can learn to move their body in new ways and can discover something about them that they didn't know before. I enjoy helping people to find their potential. I just enjoy to help people to find a better version of themselves day after day, practice after practice.

About the lesson

At the first class I ask them a few questions and based on what they tell me I'll give them some Pilates or Yoga postures to practice to test and understand better their body functionality. After m this first meeting I am able to create a class specific for their needs.

For my meditation classes I try to understand what their emotionally needs are and if they like also sound healing (bowls, ocean drums, chimes, music)

They can also choose to do for example 40 minutes of yoga or pilates or a mix of them and 20 minutes of meditation.

The average age of my students is between 35 and 80. Some of them with injuries, chronic diseases (like lower back pain, scoliosis, endometriosis, fibromalgia etc).

I suggest the student to trust that their teacher is giving them what they need and what they need sometimes it's not what they want :)
