About Alexa
Hi there! I teach classes in English, reading, writing, math, and standardized test prep, including the SAT, ACT, GRE, and LSAT. My goal is to make learning approachable, empowering, and even fun!
My professional background includes years of experience as a tutor and educator, along with work in television and film production, where I honed strong organizational and communication skills. I also have a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and am currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree.
In every class I teach, I focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and a love for learning. I believe in meeting students where they are and helping them reach their personal goals — whether it’s improving test scores or mastering challenging concepts.
And just for fun: I’m a huge fan of yoga, I love trying new recipes, and I have the most adorable pug named Stella. I can’t wait to learn with you!
