About
I’m a patient, structured, and student‑focused tutor with a background in both education and leadership, and a genuine passion for helping kids grow. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and previously worked as a K–5 Special Education Teacher, where I supported students with diverse learning needs, delivering instruction aligned with each individual, while also building strong communication practices with families and staff. Although I’m new to professional tutoring, I bring years of experience mentoring students, coaching youth, and tailoring learning to each child’s unique strengths and challenges. What I love most about tutoring is getting to know a student personally — understanding how they think, what motivates them, and what support helps them feel confident — and then building a plan that fits them, not a one‑size‑fits‑all approach. My special skill is meeting a child exactly where they are and designing clear, step‑by‑step instruction that helps them feel capable and supported, just as I did when working one‑on‑one with prior students and athletes I coached. Families describe me as calm, steady, and encouraging, and I take pride in creating a positive, structured learning environment where students can succeed. Whether your child needs help catching up, staying organized, or building confidence, I’m committed to helping them grow in a way that feels safe, personalized, and achievable.
