About
I am a Claflin University undergraduate double majoring in Biotechnology and Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics. Having worked as a Peer Tutor and Supplemental Instructor for an academic year at the same institution, I am hugely passionate about assisting others with how to learn what they need to learn. My experience in both positions and other tutoring sessions (including competition preps in my secondary school) have informed my conviction that many students do not struggle due to a lack of ability, but rather because they have not found the right strategies and/or support systems. Given my passion for neuroscience and mental optimization, I - via this tutoring platform - aim to create a supportive atmosphere where my tutees are equipped with efficient methodologies to enhance their learning. These techniques, as advocated by Jim Kwik and other mental productivity experts, relate to reading, writing, comprehension, emotional, and other brain-dependent skills vital for true excellence as a student.
I genuinely look forward to helping another person; with me, you will gain more clarity on whatever subject matter you table, not excluding Math topics.
