About Kylie
As a current first grade teacher with 4+ years of teaching experience, all Pre-K-6 material is quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from pre-kindergarten all the way to sixth grade students. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.
I am a graduate from Grand Canyon University, Elementary Education program with majors in Elementary Education and Reading Language Arts. I am a certified elementary teacher in all subject areas from birth to sixth grade. I have taught in Pre-Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classrooms and have worked in grades 3-6 classrooms throughout my education. I am enthusiastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning!
