About Eva

Eva R. is an LSAT instructor who has tutored in multiple subjects and taught students at various grade levels over the previous 5 years. Her students have achieved up to 15-point increases on their standardized tests with as little as two months of studying. She has also advised students in writing successful application essays for prestigious programs such as SIP as well as college admissions. She scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and the 96th percentile on the LSAT. When not working with test prep, she serves communities of need as a middle school teacher and reading clinician for students with special needs. Working with clients to figure out study methods optimally tailored to their specific schedules and goals is one of her favorite things to do!

I have tutored students at multiple grade levels in multiple subjects over the last five years. I truly enjoy reading and writing, and want to help others who might not find it easy or enjoyable.

I have scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and the 96th percentile on the LSAT. Over the past year, I have worked with students on study schedules from a few months to a few weeks, and they have achieved score increases up to 15 points.

About the lesson

I start with a consultation session where we comprehensively go through a student's practice test, which I will provide prior to session. If the student enjoys my teaching style, we start lessons that are oriented around their specific needs, such as fundamental LR, RC, and LG concepts or fine-tuned strategies for optimal time management. I am also happy to provide advice regarding law school applications, from personal statements to selecting target law schools.

I have worked with students ranging from primary school to people holding master's degrees.

Make sure your teacher has experience with the LSAT (a high score is good evidence of this) as well as good speaking ability, patience, and flexibility. It can also be helpful when your teacher has worked with various LSAT prep materials before, so they have a variety of techniques they can use.

My rate is $40/hour for lessons - far cheaper than most commerical companies, and I will not ask you to purchase any additional materials. Often, I will recommend free supplemental materials to aid your study and law school application process.
