About Karina
I have been a certified makeup artist practicing on and off for 15 years. I worked for Clarins, Estée Lauder, Sephora, and now Ulta Beauty in Clovis. A couple of my favorite things about doing makeup is seeing great reactions from my clients! I've had a couple people cry because they've never felt so pretty. That is special and rewarding for me. As far as teaching goes, it brings me joy when a client understands how to properly apply those products they are having trouble with. Once they get it, I feel accomplished! If you've been struggling with how to put on lashes, liquid eyeliner, or even how to do contour and highlight, I'm your girl to show you.
I just started on my own. I advertised for myself that I'm able to educate and teach others!
I'm a certified makeup artist from the Empire Makeup Academy. I learned about the basic functions of skin, color theory, and corrective makeup. Because I work at Ulta Beauty, we have ongoing training videos about new products and application techniques.

About the lesson

Once they inquire, I talk on the phone for a few minutes to get to know them and ask what they are hoping to do and accomplish in the session. Then we schedule a time to either meet in person or do it via computer.
A mother who needed help with education on her current products. A younger girl who wanted to know how to contour and highlight. Those are just a couple!
Make sure the artist has at least 5 years of solid experience in the industry and have worked on many ethnicities and knows color theory.
Mother's Day celebration this year. I look forward to and treasure the times I get to spend time with my family.
