About Jon
I am very happy to help people with personal safety. Being a victim of a crime can last a lifetime. Giving someone the personal power to overcome this is my passion.
For myself I was working in a tough area and even with military training I knew I needed more . I was very lucky to find the teachers I found Dan Inosanto, Francis Fong , and Larry Hartsell . I never stoped learning even with 35 years of training .
I have trained with some of the worlds most renown instructors and have taught for more than 30 years. I also have a range of personal experience to back up the training program and why we do it this way.

The first lesson is evaluating needs and capabilities. We speak about why they seek training and create the best avenues for training them as a individual.
I have worked with just about every kind of student from teaching at high schools to teaching Law enforcement and PPO's . I teach every day and most of my students are over 30 .
Make sure that they are not teaching you based on sports experience just because they know karate of have black belts doesn't mean they know how to teach you properly. Look for a teacher who may be rough around the edges and speaks directly . Remember it's about you and how can they help you . How many awards they have matters very little.

You should ask yourself what self defense means to you. What are you willing to do to defend yourself or escape danger . And mostly what can you do to avoid danger.

Details
Usually for individuals we charge $100 per hour lesson. We do offer 3 , 5, or ten session packages. Ten lessons would be $750 depending if you are local or are traveling from out of state we work from there.
