PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION REGARDING WHAT I TEACH!!! SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY!! I DO NOT TEACH ANY ONE UNDER 16! I Do Not have a Studio, I only teach a few students, I spent twenty years as a student with two masters of Jiu jitsu, both taught police and govt agents, and have been teaching for another twenty years since. I didnt want all the stress of opening a formal school, so I only teach people privately. I come to you or we can train in a public place what ever works. You will learn punches, kicks, escapes, gun, knife, club attacks, multiple attackers.You dont need to be fast or strong to learn this art, you never want to compete against an attacker in the first place, that is a win lose situation. I will not waste your time teaching you complicated technics that are hard to learn and that you will never use, you wont be thrown around or injured in any way, you will learn technics that are efficient and direct and easy to learn! I like teaching! I like when my students learn and understand what they are being taught, I go out of my way to make sure they understand the lesson when its over! I am retired but still like to be active and train, it keeps my busy, you never stop learning, its fun too not just endless boring drills!
I started when I was 20 by accident a friend wanted to learn and I tagged along to see what it was, I liked what I heard and saw and decided to study myself and have been a practioner ever since!
I studied with two masters of Jiu Jitsu, both have been freatured in Newsday and local TV stations, both have taught police govt agents

I ask why they want to train, I dont train bullies, I start from scratch, basic technics, to get a student used to the process of learning this art, its not just punches and kicks! This art is not about fighting and violence, its about self defense, how to avoid and defuse a situation if possible, its not movie stunts and pay per view action scenes! Martial arts were create so a smaller less physically able person could defend themselves, thats what I teach! You will learn punches, kicks, escapes, gun, knife, club, multiple attackers, how to avoid trouble in the first place!
I typically train studens 16 and up! men and women any one who wants to learn self defense!
Look for some one who really cares about a student learning properly! When the lesson is over the student should not be confused about what they learned and should feel confindent about their ability to learn more and progress!
