Adam Parker is nothing short of a miracle worker. My 16 year old son had failed multiple math programs and multiple tutors when he decided he no longer wanted to go to high school and would like to move on to college. This was not a problem in any other subject except math. Adam agreed to tutor my son the summer before he started College Algebra at a 4 year university and then continued to tutor him throughout the semester.
Adam worked diligently with my very normal 16 year old boy who sometimes forgot to do his work, did not always practice problems outside of tutoring, needed to reschedule sessions because he forgot he had to work or schedule many extra sessions because he had an exam that week. Through it all, Adam was patient, tolerant, flexible, and helpful. I would hear Adam on the computer asking my son the simplest of math questions and waiting patiently because my son was not paying attention the first two times he was asked. Adam never wavered and was always encouraging helping my son go from, "there's no way I'm ever going to pass a college math test mom!" to "I'm pretty confident on this test, mom." It was a beautiful change to watch.
Adam allowed me to move from helicoptor parent to relaxed parent letting my son mature into being able to schedule his own appointments and figure out his needs for each week. I am fully aware Adam took the brunt of helping my son mature as a student responsible for his assignments and helping him to gain confidence in an area he had always struggled in and truly believed he was incapable of success.
My 16 year old, is currently holding a B+ in his College Algebra class and it is solely due to Adam's choice to go well above and beyond. His endless patience, constant flexibility, and tireless review has truly changed my son's knowledge of math and his belief in himself. Adam is very knowledgeable yet explains concepts in ways student understand. He is always willing to help and is very encouraging and patient with struggling students. He is engaging with the students and easy to talk to and ask questions.

Our daughter was having a difficult time figuring out a math problem. Unable to explain things, I reached out to Adam for help. He was quick to jump in, made her feel comfortable (she was a little nervous about meeting with a tutor) and by the end of her first session, she was already at ease and went on to complete the remainder of her assignment and answering questions correctly.
