About Robert

One on one instruction from highly qualified tutors. We meet regularly with parents to update the status of tutoring. We also will visit schools to meet directly with a student's teacher to gain insights from the classroom.

We also have outstanding SAT and ACT Prep programs. Our SAT students average a 250 point increase and our ACT students average a 5 point increase.

Our full time staff monitor each individualized program for all of our students to insure we give the best education possible to every student.

Helping students meet or exceed their goals

The Bethlehem Huntington Learning Center has been in operation since 2010. Many of our teachers have been with us since day one. We are highly selective when hiring teachers to teach at our center.

Our Center Director has a degree in education and a masters in special ed. She has over 17 years experience with Huntington.

Our Assistant Director has a degree in education and is certificed in math and science.

All learning center teachers have degrees in education and are state certified. Most work or are retired from local school districts.

About the lesson

For Subject tutoring we meet with the student and parents to discuss the design of the tutoring program.

For our Learning Center programs that focus on improving grades in all subjects, we start with an Academic Evaluation that identifies strengths and weaknesses in reading comprehension, vocabulary, math, and writing skills. From the results of that evaluation, an individualized program is developed. We then meet with parents to discuss the results of the evaluation and the details of the suggested program.

For Exam Prep, we start with an SAT or ACT practice test which also is designed to identify areas of math, reading, and writing that need to be strengthened to improve test scores.

Over 57% of all our enrolled students were referred to us by happy parents of former students.

The common misconception of Huntington is that students who attend are failing in school. This is not true. Most of our students are doing "OK" in school but their parents recognize that they can do much better.

We teach the academic skils that turn B/C students into A students.

Some of our students do have IEP's and 504 plans. We have teachers with Special Ed Certifications to help those students overcome obstacles leading to success in school.

Yesterday a parent whose student happened to have a learning disability told my center director that Huntington has taken a huge load off of her shoulders. She has seen a dramatic improvement in her daughter at home and in school.

At Huntington, there are no contracts that lock you into a total number of hours of instruction.

Our tutoring rates range from $60 to $70 per hour. Exam Prep for SAT and ACT are $80 per hour. Discounts are available.
