About Julio

I love helping people figure out math problems from elementary school level to college math, engineering or physics. Whatever the problem just give me them with some time and I'll help you understand them. I'm a recent Aerospace Engineering graduate with some free time while looking for jobs and would love to help people out and keep my math skills sharp. I've completed and gotten an A in most of my Math, Physics and Engineering courses

Elementary and Middle School Math

H Algebra 1

H Geometry

H Precalculus

AP Calc AB ( 5 on AP test)

Calc 2 ( college level, series and trig based)

Calc 3 (3d calculus)

Linear Algebra

Diff Equations

Physics 1 (kinematics with calculus basis but can teach non calc based)

Physics 2 (E&M)

Physics 3 (General Relativy)

Statics

Dynamics

Mechanics of Materials

I had to teach of most of my classmates in college and also had to manage the review sessions prior to taking exams, they also all would pay me to take notes for them and I started getting clients from there.

Begin with their level of Mathematics, have them send me what lesson plans they need help with a few days prior. Take into consideration what they're struggling with and breakdown the levels of analysis required and provide step by step explations of the problem. Then provide examples of each step for them to complete and then finally examples of problems with increasing levels of difficulty until the lesson plan goals are reached. For example,

if we were to have an initial problem of solving

2x + 32 = 64

then I would begin by saying what is

1+1 equal to?

they would say 2 and then we would have

1+1 = 2, with this in mind I would replace it with

x+1 = 2 so now we would solve this until they become comfortable with a variable

we would then increase this at 3 levels,

x+1 = 32

x+12 = 32

2x+12 = 32

and finally back with orginal problem, keeping in mind that they can solve each level comfortably and understand the concepts.

college and high school level mainly.

It's better to have someone help you understand and find your own way in the beginning instead of developing bad habbits.

I had a member at the gym that I work at bring us food because we were able to help him and his wife reach their goals before their wedding.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Which part is and isn't sticking? Then what about it makes understand and not understand the lesson.
