About Chris
We are a full-service tutoring company serving the Chicagoland area. We offer private tutoring, group tutoring, test prep, full classes, and skill-building. We are supported by the four pillars of the company that set us apart from other tutoring services.
Knowledge is a continuum
We aim to build connections and bridges between disciplines. Students should be able to see the math in music and the science in language. We foster a holistic approach to learning.
Learning is a process
We don’t magically change students; we work through a gradual process to transform them. We begin by explaining that the main goal is to help the student learn how to learn, rather than just helping with their homework. Regardless of the grade, which will also improve, we look for opportunities to build lifelong learning skills through practice, dialogue, and an inquiry-based approach.
Be the best version of you
Every student is unique, so we don’t have a one-size-fits-all system. Rather, we help students discover their own strengths and utilize strategies to manage their weaknesses.
Coaching towards success
Students are used to a flow of information in one direction in the classroom. Our tutoring process is more about guided discovery. This creates an opportunity and a safe space for the student try new things and rise to the occasion. We discover their best techniques for learning along the way, which paves the way for their eventual career.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Communications and a Masters degree in Science Education. I also have 8 years of tutoring experience. I have taught college and high school level science classes
